Laser Electrical Timaru are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Electrician to join our team.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with industrial experience as we provide service to the local industries and also farms throughout the South Canterbury region.
We carry out a variety of other electrical work in a broad range of environments and applications, including domestic and commercial work so options are available in all fields of the sector to suit an individual's skills.
This role will be full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week offered, Monday to Friday.
A typical working week would be 45 hours, from 7.30am to 5pm.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Day to day responsibilities will mainly be focused on electrical contracting
- You will have the ability to work unattended and use initiative
- Be responsible for carrying out prescribed electrical work to a high level
- Good communication skills
- High work standards & professional manner
All applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa, be an NZ registered electrician with a current practising licence. Clean and full NZ drivers licence is also essential.
