Sport Waikato's District coordinator Lisa Mansell is planning to change that by starting up a South Waikato Rugby Boot Recycling initiative.
Mansell said the boots will be available free of charge as a way of helping to reduce the financial strain sports can put on families and can be dropped off at Laser Plumbing Putaruru.
